Echo Alpha Delta is a new map of the guitar fretboard. It is built from three fundamental open chord shapes that guitarists know as E, A, and D. We begin by giving these three shapes new names; then we can move them around the neck to use with any note.
Each of the three shapes has its own territory, personality, and colour: Echo is blue, Alpha is red, and Delta is green. Every chord and scale can be played with each shape. The three shapes lace together and form one complete map of the fretboard. Any position on the neck has one of these grip shapes at hand.
In musical settings, throughout chord and key changes, you can visualize where this map of three shapes lands on the neck, enabling you to react and play fluently. Ultimately, you will be able to bend the shapes to any tonality, revealing infinite trails to explore.
