Echo Alpha Delta: A Guitar Map

Echo Alpha Delta is a map of the guitar fretboard. It is built from three fundamental open chord shapes that guitarists know as E, A and D. We begin by giving these three shapes new names; then we may move them around the neck to use with any note. With three elemental patterns, we can unlock the guitar.

Each of the three shapes is represented as a distinct visual entity with its own territory, personality, and colour: Echo is blue, Alpha is red, and Delta is green. Every chord and scale lives inside each shape. The three shapes lace together and form one complete map of the fretboard. Any position on the neck has one of these grip shapes available at hand.

In musical settings, throughout chord and key changes, the player can visualize where this map of three shapes lands on the neck, enabling them to react and play fluently. Ultimately, they will be able to bend the shapes to any tonality, revealing infinite trails to explore.

Now, let’s learn the map.
